Vaporesso introduces their new flagship platform, the Polar 220W TC Starter Kit, which utilizes the CASCADE Baby SE Sub-Ohm Tank and latest OMNI Board 4.0 chipset. The Polar 220W TC Box Mod has a 5 to 220W output range, a 0.03 to 5.0 ohm atomizer resistance range, and several output modes, two of which include: Customized Curve of Wattage (CCW), Customized Curve of Temperature (CCT), and Customized Curve of Voltage (CCV) giving the device much functional versatility. The Polar 220W TC device is powered by two 18650 batteries (sold separately) which can be accessed via the magnetized battery door. A 2 inch TFT screen displays essential information to the user, such as: wattage/temperature, atomizer resistance, individual battery life display. The screen itself blends in to the panel, giving the device a unique and classy look. Along with the aluminum alloy chassis material, The Polar 220W TC device can be charged via USB and has the capability of a 2.5A quick charge, alongside an equalizing charge system and USB input protection. The Polar 220W TC Starter Kit comes paired with the Cascade Baby SE 24.5mm Subohm Tank features a expandable tank section, allowing users to use the compact size for 6.5ml capacity, a lift to open top fill system and uses the GT Coil Family. The Top Fill Section of the Cascade Baby are reversed threaded along with the top base for easy cleaning. The Polar 220W TC Box mod along with the CASCADE Baby SE Sub-Ohm tank makes this set up the most versatile and visually stunning device to own.

I bought this mod not too long ago and in all honesty even though it is a very good mod it took a quite a bit of tweaking. I noticed as soon as I started using it I was going through coils like crazy and that was on different settings like the normal setting, the soft setting, and the hard setting. I found the best setting for everything was the CCV setting because you could customize the wattage. After using the CCV setting I would say this mod is one of the best I’ve used. I do believe Vaporesso should tweak the other settings for the people who are just starting out and have not vaped for a long time.

This is my second review for this Mod and now I have a different perspective. After using it for about 4 months I am noticing that the ohms are wrong on every tank I have tried. I have cleaned the tanks connectors to try and resolve this problem and still no luck. I ended up going back to the Smok brand and I already notice the ohms accuracy to spot on.
