This thing works great. Makes wrapping different sized coils a breeze. My only issue is its not easy to use this tool to guide a 3.5mm coil into posts on some decks every other size works just fine though.

These tools are great to get started with when building coils. I personally prefer the coil master ones though.

it works quite well, I am thinking I will take a small drill bit and put a teeny hole in each “stage” to hold the wire more easily, could be a coil master type jig done on the cheap. it works quite well, though is a bit short so it makes holding by hand and making nice tight coil hard, but, if were longer probably make more difficult just the same…the little hole likely work well, and even if I muck it up, thats ok, they are low cost :)
