ACCESSIBILITY POLICY
1. PURPOSE
Ace Vaper is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive environment for customers, employees, applicants, suppliers, visitors and other individuals who interact with our business.
This Accessibility Policy establishes Ace Vaper’s approach to identifying, preventing and removing accessibility barriers and to providing goods, services, information and communications in a manner consistent with applicable accessibility requirements, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (“AODA”) and the applicable requirements of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (“IASR”).
2. STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT
Ace Vaper is committed to treating persons with disabilities in a manner that respects their dignity and independence and promotes integration and equal opportunity.
We seek to identify, prevent and remove barriers that may interfere with access to our goods, services, information, communications, website or other areas of our business.
Where an individual with a disability requires accommodation, Ace Vaper will make reasonable efforts to understand the individual’s accessibility needs and provide appropriate accommodation in accordance with applicable law.
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. Ace Vaper will review its practices and, where appropriate, make reasonable improvements as technologies, standards, business practices and accessibility requirements evolve.
ACCESSIBLE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS
3. ACCESSIBLE FORMATS AND COMMUNICATION SUPPORTS
Ace Vaper recognizes that individuals may receive, understand and interact with information in different ways.
Upon request, and where required by applicable law, Ace Vaper will provide or arrange for information and communications to be provided in an accessible format or with appropriate communication supports.
Accessible formats and communication supports may include, depending upon the circumstances:
- electronic or digital formats;
- large-print materials;
- plain-language communication;
- accessible documents;
- audio formats;
- captioning;
- alternative text;
- other communication supports; or
- another reasonable format suitable to the individual’s accessibility needs.
When determining an appropriate accessible format or communication support, Ace Vaper will consult with the individual making the request where appropriate.
Accessible formats and communication supports will be provided in a timely manner and, where required by law, at a cost no greater than the regular cost charged to other persons for the same information.
4. REQUESTING ACCESSIBLE INFORMATION
Customers and other members of the public who require information from Ace Vaper in an accessible format or require communication support are encouraged to contact us.
Requests may be made through our customer-service contact methods.
When receiving a request, we may ask questions reasonably necessary to understand the accessibility need and determine an appropriate method of providing the information.
A person requesting accommodation is not required to provide unnecessary details concerning the nature of their disability.
5. EXCEPTIONS AND UNCONVERTIBLE INFORMATION
Accessibility requirements relating to accessible formats and communication supports may not apply to certain information where an exception is provided under applicable law.
This may include:
- information or communications that Ace Vaper does not control directly or indirectly through a contractual relationship;
- products and product labels where excluded by applicable accessibility requirements; and
- information or communications that cannot reasonably be converted into an accessible format.
Where Ace Vaper determines that information or a communication cannot be converted into an accessible format, we will, where required, explain why conversion is not practicable and provide a summary of the information or communication.
ACCESSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
6. CUSTOMER SERVICE PRINCIPLES
Ace Vaper is committed to providing customers with disabilities with equitable access to our goods and services.
In providing customer service, we will make reasonable efforts to:
- respect the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities;
- provide services in an integrated manner wherever reasonably possible;
- provide persons with disabilities with opportunities to access our goods and services comparable to those available to other customers;
- communicate in a manner that takes an individual’s accessibility needs into account; and
- consider reasonable alternative methods of providing service when an existing method creates an accessibility barrier.
7. ASSISTIVE DEVICES
Persons with disabilities may use their own assistive devices when accessing Ace Vaper’s goods or services, subject to applicable health, safety and legal requirements.
Where the use of a particular assistive device is not reasonably possible because of a significant health, safety or accessibility concern, Ace Vaper will consider reasonable alternative measures for providing access to the applicable goods or services.
8. SERVICE ANIMALS
Ace Vaper welcomes persons with disabilities accompanied by a guide dog or service animal in areas of our premises, if any, that are open to the public, except where the animal is excluded by applicable law.
Where it is not readily apparent that an animal is being used as a service animal for reasons relating to a disability, Ace Vaper may request appropriate confirmation as permitted by applicable law.
Customers accompanied by service animals are responsible for maintaining care and control of their animals.
Where a service animal is legally prohibited from entering a particular area, Ace Vaper will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative means for the person with a disability to access the applicable goods or services.
9. SUPPORT PERSONS
A person with a disability who requires a support person may generally be accompanied by that support person when accessing Ace Vaper’s goods or services.
Where confidential or personal information must be discussed in the presence of a support person, Ace Vaper may obtain the customer’s consent before disclosing the information.
Where permitted by applicable law, Ace Vaper may determine that a support person is necessary to protect the health or safety of the person with a disability or others, but only after considering the circumstances and whether another reasonable measure would adequately address the concern.
SERVICE DISRUPTIONS
10. NOTICE OF TEMPORARY DISRUPTIONS
Where a temporary disruption affects a facility, service, system or feature ordinarily relied upon by persons with disabilities to access Ace Vaper’s goods or services, Ace Vaper will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of the disruption where required and reasonably practicable.
The notice may include:
- the service or facility affected;
- the reason for the disruption, where known;
- the anticipated duration, where known; and
- available alternative services, facilities or methods of access.
Notice may be provided through the Site, at an affected location, through customer-service communications or by another method appropriate to the circumstances.
Unexpected disruptions may occur where advance notice is not reasonably possible.

11. OUR WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY COMMITMENT
Ace Vaper believes that digital information and online shopping services should be accessible to as broad an audience as reasonably possible.
We are committed to considering accessibility in the operation and ongoing development of www.acevaper.ca and to meeting applicable website accessibility requirements under Ontario accessibility legislation.
We seek to identify and address accessibility barriers that may interfere with the ability of persons with disabilities to navigate, understand or interact with our Site.
12. WEB CONTENT ACCESSIBILITY
Where required by the AODA and IASR, Ace Vaper seeks to maintain applicable web content in accordance with the required level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

- sufficient text and interface contrast;
- understandable links and controls;
- appropriately identified form fields;

- avoiding unnecessary accessibility barriers in Site navigation and checkout processes.
Website accessibility may be affected by third-party content, applications, integrations, payment systems or other technology that is not fully controlled by Ace Vaper.
Where we become aware of an accessibility issue within our control, we will make reasonable efforts to assess and address it.
13. ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Our goal is to support access to the Site through commonly used browsers, devices and assistive technologies where reasonably practicable.
Individual experiences may differ depending on the combination of browser, operating system, assistive technology, device settings and third-party software being used.
Ace Vaper does not represent that every part of the Site will operate identically with every possible combination of browser, device or assistive technology.
If you encounter difficulty accessing part of our Site, please contact us so that we can consider an alternative way of providing the applicable information or service and investigate the accessibility issue where appropriate.
14. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND SERVICES
Certain features of the Site may rely on third-party technologies or services, such as payment processing, embedded content, maps, social-media features or other integrations.
While Ace Vaper seeks to consider accessibility when selecting and implementing third-party services, we may not have complete control over the accessibility of content or technology provided independently by third parties.
If a third-party component creates an accessibility barrier, we encourage users to contact us so that we can consider whether a reasonable alternative is available.

Systemic barriers – policies, practices or procedures that unintentionally restrict equal access for persons with disabilities.
Physical barriers – features of a physical environment that may restrict access or mobility.
Attitudinal barriers – assumptions, behaviours or practices that may result in persons with disabilities being treated differently or excluded.
Ace Vaper will consider these types of barriers when reviewing relevant business practices and accessibility initiatives.
17. ACCESSIBILITY PLAN
Where required under applicable accessibility legislation, Ace Vaper will establish, maintain and periodically review a multi-year accessibility plan describing its strategy for preventing and removing accessibility barriers and meeting applicable AODA requirements.
Accessibility initiatives may include reviewing:
- customer-service practices;
