The Berserker V2 MTL RDA sports a somewhat of a similar design to the original, but offers quite a few improvements both aesthetically, and functionality. It keeps a super compact form factor coming in at only 24mm in height, and 22mm in diameter. As with previous Berserker atomizers, this version 2 is also designed specifically for mouth to lung vaping. It features a domed, and smaller chamber, which not only enhances the flavor, but provides less condensation overall. Another great feature is the interchangeable airflow system. This allows you to quickly change out the airflow, and best of all, it includes various sizes, so you’ll get different types of MTL draws.
You won’t to worry about leaking either as it does have a leak proof design, and can accommodate up to 1.5ml of e-juice inside of the actual base. Installing coils in the Vandy Vape Berserker V2 is super easy. It has a simple two post build deck, so slide in your coils, tighten them down, and clip off the leads. Now, I know drip tips are of concern with any MTL atomizer, so we’re glad to see Vandy Vape included multiple unique drip tips inside of the packaging.

I am a dedicated MTL vaper with a craving for flavour and have been using the Berserker MTL RDA since the first one was released and have always been thrilled with it’s performance. This is the second version of the tank, still designed by Alex from VapersMD, and it retains the stellar performance of the first one, with a *massively* improved deck which just makes a great MTL RDA even better. It is 22mm from the outside, but the inner chamber is more like 18mm which preserves that awesome concentrated flavour I’m used to from the original. The barrel is a double-wall design, with the outer airflow hole opening into the space between the walls, with air flowing around the deck and emerging through an airflow insert under the deck (you might find this produces some cooling of the tank but it’s minor at best). This produces an effectively leak-proof design as there is just nowhere for the juice inside to go. Inserts come in a range of sizes so you can set the airflow to what you like. People who like an extremely tight draw may not be satisified with the 1.0mm, although I find it fine. I do wish it came with a 1.2mm as depending on your tastes, you may find it a bit of a jump going from 1.0 to 1.4 in terms of airflow. It’s worth noting that the inserts are improved over the original as well, locking into a metal sleeve below the coil rather than just sitting there (if you weren’t careful, it was possible to scorch/melt the insert in the original dry burning the coil…this new configuration should eliminate most of those issues although I’d still avoid heating up a coil to white-hot levels with it in place if possible).
The deck is actually much roomier than the first version, with lovely big flat screws making coiling a real breeze, and marks a massive improvement as that was my primary complaint about the original version…the deck was fiddly. This model comes with a squonk pin installed by default, but a standard 510 pin is in the accessories bag if you prefer it as a pure dripper. It works like a charm in either mode, with a massively deep juice well which you can really push juice into if you like as the tank really won’t leak (the only place the juice can be getting out is through the mouthpiece). I have two of this, one I use as a squonking MTL RDA and it’s wonderful. The other I use as a dripper with a tighter airflow for tobacco juices and I’m thoroughly impressed with it’s performance in both configurations. The cap is easy to remove, and locks in place when you have it oriented correctly for the “wrap-around” airflow mentioned above.
I have no idea why this MTL RDA isn’t available more widely as it is a truly stunning product. AceVaper is one of the few local shops I’ve found carrying it, but it’s worth your consideration if you are looking for a MTL RDA. Vandy Vape and Alex from VapersMD really have this down pat in my opinion. Awesome product, highly recommended.
